— Aerial Yoga —
Aerial yoga integrates the use of a hammock into a traditional, classic Yoga class. We focus on deep breathing, postural alignment, and calm, purposeful movement that develops control and keeps the student’s energy and emotions grounded. We use the hammock as a tool to support standing positions so that they can be held longer, to alleviate the difficulty and spinal compression from inversions, and to develop core strength. Relax and realign the body, center the mind and uplift the spirit!

What to wear
To avoid silk burns, we suggest wearing the following:
Yoga pants that cover the back of your knee
A shirt with a short sleeve
If you prefer a tank top, bring a short sleeved shirt just in case.
Bring a yoga mat if you have one available to you!
